Badia a Coltibuono Extra Virgin Olive Oil

A classic oil, produced in a 17th century Tuscan Benedictine monastery. Olives unaffected by agricultural pesticides due to high altitudes are cold-pressed in large granite rollers, resulting the ultimate finishing oil; the perfect addition to any Mediterranean flavours. One of our favourite products.

Flavour notes: Low acid, with a strong green colour, full-flavoured, herbaceous olive character and a strong pepper aftertaste.

Ideal Application: Perfectly suited to dressing artisan pasta with only the addition of grated Parmigiana Reggiano. The complex herb and pepper characters make this oil ideal for dressing tomatoes and salads.
